Before and After!

Well, my bathroom painting adventure is complete!

I considered the use of Feng Shui in my bathroom.

The colour shown on the wall is a kind of smoke colour....I accented this colour with a striped wall in behind the bulkhead...these stripes continue around the tub, I really like the effect!

When you have an unusual feature such as this, play it up! There is not a whole lot to look at in here, so this acts as 'art' for my wall!

The mirrors used on the left side are a Feng Shui method of opening up the space.

White accents give the space a crisp look, while the stripes add character...as much as I can give in a space this size...and definitely simple is better in a small space!



This light blue/grey colour belongs to the 'water' Feng Shui element...

bringing the energy of unlimited sky and happiness into my home.



So that's that!!

I also wanted to show you my most recent chair upholstery adventure...

The chair I got for free from my sister....this chair was very beat up and stained, but the structure was solid! This is important!!

The chair itself took some time to do...

but if you're patient, the outcome is worth it!

When you have a patterned chair, stick to other simple patterns, patterns that are a smaller scale than the other.  This pillow I made was a design simply drawn on the back of a leather (faux leather) fabric, cut out and stitched on a white fabric!  Again, I'm a fan of unique, one of a kind pieces that really say something about a me!  It's all about adding your own touch..What do you think this chair says about me?
